February and celebrating Valentine's Day

We were all VERY excited for February! We would be heading back to Disneyland and we couldn't be more excited.

Hailey was excited to attend her first Daddy Daughter dance and she wanted a cute new hairdo and we came across this heart braid that was such a hit!

What was exciting about this trip to Disneyland was that Hailey would be able to go with ALL her cousins which she has never done before!

Hailey was so glad to be able to go on her favorite rides with her cousins. It was really cute to see. I hope we can do this again in the future!

Our new obsession was enjoying a delicious Tigger Tail Treat! So yum!

We even arrived in the nic of time to meet Moana before she left on another adventure! It was amazing!

We really indulged on treats this trip. Don't judge us. LOL!

Can you find Hailey in the midst of all the blue fur? She's in there somewhere, I promise! This was the first time meeting Sulley!
 We love this pup!
Our friend Judy Hopps had told me that I had to bring Hailey over to get a hug. I had to listen, she's an officer!
February was also Annual Passholder Month and we got to meet the Sherrif of Knottingham and Prince John from Robin Hood. AP days was a complete mess and very unorganized and if Disneyland would like a few pointers on how it could run smoother I hope they ask me. I have a list of improvements for them!

So many cast members make our trips so great that we had made and brought more thank you gifs to pass out!

Hailey received a gift card to go to Goofy's kitchen for Valentine's Day and it was such a blast!

The food sure was Goofy though, dessert for breakfast? Why not?

They even heard that Hailey's Pacemaker had a birthday so she got an extra cupcake!

On Valentine's Day at Disneyland you get to see princesses with their prince and that was so awesome!

Sleeping Beauty brought Prince Phillip with her!

We saw our friend Princess Elena again and it was Magical!

Hailey's pin trading game is on point thanks to her friends Max and Lexi for hooking her up!

We also passed out some tissue holders that we made and we put the left overs in our Etsy shop if you'd like one!

After our trip we did end up at the Hospital with Hailey due to some acid reflux. She ended up having to get a barium x-ray done and is now on medication.

February is Rare Disease Awareness month. We joined the Little Miss Hannah Foundation at their 5K and it was really a ton of fun!

We were also invited by Make a Wish to accept a check from Bank of Nevada and their Swish for a Wish campaign. The Wish kid that was supposed to go ended up not feeling well so Hailey filled in for them. We try to help whenever we can!

February was also Hailey's cousins birthday so we headed over to Dave and Buster's after Horse Therapy one weekend and let the girls have some fun. Hailey loves this place and since they support Make a Wish we support them!

Finally the last of the new items for our Etsy shop were posted and we are ready to ship them out to new homes!

March is nearly over but I think we have a few more things scheduled before I write about it. Stay turned for our next blog post!

It's a new year for Hugs for Hailey

Happy New Year! I know it's March and this post is a little late but as I'm trying to update the blog I decided it'd be easier for me to update monthly instead of a post for every single event. Let's see how this works...

Hailey's feet often ache from having to wear AFO's all day long in order to be able to walk. We decided to pamper her by getting a fun foot bath filled with Orbeez gel beads. I also scented the water with some of my Doterra Oils!
January 2017 marks Hailey's 2 year pacemaker anniversary! Can you believe it's been 2 years? If you haven't read about Hailey's pacemaker you can do that in some of my previous blog posts. This year at her new cardiologist they celebrate by letting patience pick a present for their Pacemaker's Birthday. Hailey picked this Doc McStuffins play set and loves it!

An awesome Make a Wish event we went to was for a Medical Transportation company that has partnered with Make A Wish Southern Nevada. We attended the grand opening and it was so fancy! They had a medical plane on display and Hailey wanted me to go inside with her. Does anyone remember my blog post about Hailey's flight for life? If you do you will know what my answer to that question was...

Being a Wish Kid Ambassador is a tough job! Hailey enjoyed her first massage at the event!

January also consisted of a trip to Utah....surprise surprise...
While there we had a physical therapy appointment and I've said it before. Our local PT is NOTHING in comparison to the Utah therapy. I mean you won us over with the ball pit but then we saw...
 A rock wall!? How amazing!

We also loaded up our ETSY shop with LOTS of new items. With Hailey's love for Disneyland these new items were an easy choice. Have you checked out our new stock? You can do so HERE

We even discovered some new fun things to do with Hailey's hair. This was a pull through braid I learned from YouTube!

Last year Hooters Partnered with Make a Wish to donate a very large amount of money. Hailey went to Hooters to accept the check on behalf of Make a Wish Southern Nevada. It was a very fun night and they gave us these cool glasses!
Thanks Hooters!

January we also celebrated our dogs 10th birthday by getting her a donut from a local dog bakery. The bakery smelled so delicious when we walked in. Everything was human consumable but with out sugar they looked better then they tasted!

We are looking forward to February! Join us in following along!
